The father of an 11 year old aspergian girl uncovers evidence towards a kidnapping and the rest is history. I was lucky to be among the first few to read this book and having had experience with special needs kids, I think Robert Evans captured the personality quite perfectly. He knows when to go into detail about the quirks of her particular condition and puts her special skills to good use in this little thriller, making this father daughter duo a team not to be messed with. I recommend giving this one a read.
I found this story to be very entertaining and I would recomend it to my friends.Hopefully there will be further adventures for these characters.
I enjoyed reading this book on several levels. I liked how the author explored the father-daughter relationship, and I thought the April character was nicely developed. The book was fast- paced, set in my home town, which was a bonus, and it kept me interested all the way to the end.
I first learned about "If Dead Animals Could Read" from my Facebook friends. Going to , I purchased the book by Robert Evans. Anxious and curious about it, I immediately began reading. I didn't put it down until I got to the ending. The characters were intriguing and believable. The plot kept moving at a comfortable pace with twists and turns that I enjoyed following. It flowed well and and kept my interest with witty and creative ways to dress up the story. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.
